The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives

Looking for a book that is devious, deliciously bonkers, and soap opera-esque—but with a bit more depth? The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is the one for you.

Georgia St. Claire—known as the “Black Widow” because of how things ended up for her first two husbands— is about to marry her third. Georgia’s bestie, Erin King, is head of the association for Presidio Terrace, a community for the elite. She knows if you’ve painted your front door an ugly shade of red, or if you use scissors to trim your lawn. She’s also a one-time news anchor whose patience wore out enough for her to quit her dream job. Thank goodness she has a supportive husband. Or is he?

Brooke Davies is the newest member to the prestigious block. As a mystery author, she doesn’t feel like she belongs. And yet, Georgia and Erin both welcome her with open arms.

They seem so perfect.

As the festivities gear up for Georgia’s third wedding, it becomes instantly clear that drama and danger are about to fall onto the Presidio Terrace community. The less you know, the better. Go into this one blind.

Unsavory secrets and scandalous behavior ensues. Who can the reader trust? Who should the reader be skeptical of? You won’t know until you get to the very last page. There are plenty of red herrings and twisted dynamics to keep everyone guessing what is going to happen.

The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is an absolute blast of a good time. The brilliant writing will no doubt pull you in, hook you into the escalation of suspense, and then spit you out once you wrap your head around everything. This is one of the most enjoyably suspenseful books I have read in 2021, and I look forward to reading more from the author.
